Job Summary
Leading the implementation and continuous improvement of the First-Year Experience curriculum, the full-time remote Academic First-Year Experience Manager will oversee faculty recruitment and development, monitor student success metrics, and ensure alignment with institutional goals for student engagement and retention.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the administration and enhancement of the University's First-Year Experience initiatives, focusing on student engagement and retention
- Recruit, support, and evaluate faculty teaching the first course, fostering a culture of teaching excellence
- Analyze performance data to identify trends and implement curriculum improvements that support student transition to online learning
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline related to higher education or student success
- Three or more years of leadership experience in academic program management or faculty supervision
- Minimum of three years of online teaching experience with a strong understanding of effective online pedagogy
- Experience in developing or assessing First-Year Experience or related curricula focused on student success
- Proficiency with learning management systems and data-informed decision-making tools
