Academic Program Officer
Job Summary
To support the Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Special Education, the full-time remote Academic Program Officer will manage student support for online educator preparation programs, oversee day-to-day operations, and lead initiatives for program improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact for students and faculty regarding course enrollment and program requirements
- Monitor students' academic progress and collaborate with faculty and staff to support students facing challenges
- Support the implementation of clinical experiences and develop programming for orientations and community events
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree strongly preferred
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience required; 3+ years preferred
- Experience in advising, curriculum development, or program implementation and evaluation
- Teaching license and/or experience in preK-12 schools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
