Job Summary

A company is looking for an Access Center Navigator to assist with patient navigation and appointment coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a point of contact for patients and referring physicians, facilitating appointments and referrals
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate patient records while following up with patients and collaborating with care teams
  • Develop a thorough understanding of services and insurance plans to assist patients effectively
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • 2-3 years of customer service or call center experience required
  • High school degree or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
  • Healthcare experience including knowledge of medical terminology and managed care strongly preferred
  • Ability to use general office equipment, including a multi-line telephone system
  • Strong understanding of insurance plans and financial assistance programs is beneficial
