Job Summary
To ensure timely access to care for patients, the full-time Access Services Representative will respond to physician requests, engage with patients for appointment scheduling, and utilize clinical and administrative knowledge to facilitate efficient care in a remote work setting for candidates in the MA/CT area.
Key responsibilities:
- Responds to physician needs to guarantee appropriate and timely patient access to care
- Provides prompt and courteous responses to appointment requests via various communication channels
- Engages with patients directly to support timely and appropriate appointment scheduling
Required qualifications:
- 2 years of prior experience in a physician office or customer service setting
- GED or HiSET required
- Successfully completed a medical terminology course or willingness to complete one within a year of hire
- Proficiency in using relevant technology and applications, including CIS and Centricity Business
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus
