Job Summary
To ensure timely access to care for patients, the full-time Access Services Representative will respond to physician needs, manage appointment scheduling, and maintain communication with patients and providers in a remote work environment for candidates in the MA/CT area.
Key responsibilities:
- Responds to needs of physicians and community providers to facilitate patient access to care
- Provides prompt and professional responses to appointment requests via various communication methods
- Engages directly with patients to support timely and appropriate appointment scheduling
Required qualifications:
- Two years of experience in a physician office or customer service setting
- GED or HiSET certification
- Completion of a medical terminology course or willingness to complete one within a year of hire
- Proficiency in using computer applications relevant to the role
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus
