Access Services Representative

Job Summary

To support patient registration and insurance verification processes, the full-time Access Services Representative will conduct patient interviews, verify insurance benefits, and assist with financial responsibilities in a remote setting from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Conducts patient interviews to gather demographic and financial data for registration and insurance verification
• Registers patients at multiple locations and identifies process improvement opportunities to enhance revenue cycle functions
• Verifies patient eligibility for insurance coverage and calculates patient dues according to financial policies

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Less than 1 year of experience in a related field
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated customer service skills and professionalism in stressful situations
