Access Services Representative

Job Summary

To support patient registration and insurance verification, the full-time remote Access Services Representative 1 will conduct patient interviews, collect demographic and financial data, and assist with payment arrangements while ensuring compliance with healthcare policies.

Key responsibilities

• Conducts patient interviews to gather demographic and financial information for registration and insurance verification
• Registers patients across multiple locations and identifies process improvement opportunities to enhance patient flow and experience
• Verifies insurance eligibility, calculates patient dues, and negotiates payment arrangements as necessary

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Less than 1 year of relevant experience
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong listening and communication skills, with a focus on customer service
