Job Summary
A company is looking for an Access/Outreach Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Answers and directs inbound and outbound calls, ensuring efficient handling
- Schedules appointments and communicates necessary instructions to patients
- Organizes and follows up on paperwork related to patient care and assists with referrals
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
- Medical, secretarial, and/or customer service experience required
- 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Experience in appointment scheduling and managing patient phone calls preferred
- Experience as CMA/RMA, MOA, or in a call center environment preferred
