Job Summary

Providing essential support to patients and providers, the full-time remote Access Specialist will manage inbound and outbound calls, schedule appointments, capture messages for clinic staff, and address customer needs while ensuring adherence to division guidelines.

Key responsibilities
  • Answers calls efficiently, utilizing standard greetings and ensuring accurate assistance to customer requests
  • Schedules patient appointments in electronic systems, prioritizing health concerns and educating patients on processes
  • Documents customer information and communicates effectively with clinic staff and providers regarding patient needs
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Fundamental awareness of patient scheduling systems
  • Basic knowledge of call center etiquette and customer service principles
  • Ability to handle complex situations and make sound decisions under guidance
