Access Specialist

Job Summary

Managing complex system access across EMR platforms and payer portals, the full-time remote Access Specialist will serve as a subject-matter expert in access workflows, support onboarding initiatives, and provide guidance to junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage access provisioning for EMR systems, billing platforms, and payer portals
• Independently handle complex access requests and ensure access readiness for client go-lives and transitions
• Provide informal coaching and knowledge-sharing to Access Specialist I team members

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare or IT-related field preferred
• Experience in healthcare access administration, medical billing operations, or healthcare IT support
• Strong understanding of payer portals and healthcare billing systems
• Ability to manage ambiguity and exercise sound judgment in sensitive situations
• Experience with advanced access audits and compliance documentation
