Accessibility Expert UI Developer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote contract Accessibility Expert UI Developer, the candidate will focus on building clean, semantic user interfaces and implementing digital accessibility standards across high-visibility state agency projects while collaborating with UX architects.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain user interfaces that comply with modern web standards and accessibility guidelines
• Integrate frontend user interfaces into Angular or MVC .NET frameworks while ensuring digital accessibility from the ground up
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate technical frontend requirements and accessibility best practices

Required qualifications

• 6 years of experience with semantic HTML5, CSS, and SASS
• 6 years of experience implementing WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards and ARIA compliance
• 6 years of experience in keyboard navigation and focus management
• 6 years of experience with screen reader testing tools (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver)
• 6 years of experience in Angular and MVC .NET frameworks
