Accessibility Project Support Specialist
Job Summary
Providing program compliance support and data analysis, the full-time remote Accessibility Project Support Specialist - Level II will ensure ICT initiatives adhere to federal Section 508 standards while analyzing accessibility data and supporting project teams.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and validate accessibility data, and compile compliance reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Review Section 508 requests through DHS governance processes and provide technical assistance to ICT project teams
- Evaluate and remediate electronic documents for Section 508 standards, and support instructor-led accessibility training
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Active IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) certification
- 4+ years of professional experience in ICT accessibility compliance and project support
- 2+ years of experience addressing Section 508 requirements in complex IT projects
- Broad knowledge of Revised Section 508 Standards and federal accessibility reporting frameworks
