Accessibility Specialist

Job Summary

To advance accessibility practices within the Enterprise Design System, the full-time remote Accessibility Specialist will define standards, integrate inclusive practices into design components, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accessible digital experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary accessibility owner for the Enterprise Design System, defining and evolving accessibility standards
• Embed accessibility considerations throughout the design and development lifecycle of UI components and patterns
• Conduct accessibility reviews and audits, partnering with engineering and external vendors to refine testing approaches

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years' related experience, or 7 years of combined higher education and work experience with 3 years' related experience
• Demonstrated experience applying WCAG-aligned accessibility principles to digital products
• Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for evaluating accessibility behavior
• Strong experience in writing accessible UX content, including plain language and semantic structure
• Familiarity with industry-standard accessibility tools and testing methods, such as screen readers and automated testing tools
