Accessioning Technician

Job Summary

To support diagnostic testing operations, the full-time contract Accessioning Technician in Phoenix, AZ will manage the receipt and data entry of samples, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation within a laboratory information management system.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and enter sample data for diagnostic testing, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Label slides appropriately without impacting samples and manage case splitting as needed
• Record all labeling information in Excel and maintain organization within the laboratory information management system

Required qualifications

• A degree in Biology or a closely related field is preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high throughput environment
• Strong computer and data entry skills, particularly in MS Office Suite
• Prior experience with a laboratory information management system is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and work both independently and collaboratively
