Job Summary
A company is looking for an Account Director responsible for selling products or services directly to end-user customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new accounts and expand existing accounts within an assigned territory or industry
- Lead design and delivery of new products and processes while managing complex projects
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and serve as an escalation point for complex issues
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years, or a PhD with 3+ years of experience
- Strong project management skills and ability to resolve complex issues creatively
- Demonstrated leadership in managing significant projects and influencing team priorities
- Ability to determine work priorities and consult with management on long-range goals
- Experience in networking with key contacts outside of own area of expertise
