Account Director, Design & Technology

Job Summary

Seeking a strategic and passionate Account Director, Design & Technology, the full-time remote position will manage relationships with creators, drive engagement, and implement outreach strategies to support the Design & Technology categories on the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Build and strengthen relationships with creators and track interactions using the CRM
• Develop category-specific educational resources and serve as the face of Kickstarter within the Design & Technology community
• Contribute to strategic outreach efforts, advocating for Kickstarter while collaborating across the company to achieve revenue and retention targets

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Design & Technology with a strong network in the community
• Deep understanding of what makes projects in Design & Technology a good fit for Kickstarter
• Proven ability to execute strategic plans that yield data-driven results
• Exceptional communication skills, including public speaking and representation at industry events
• Bonus points for being a creator within the categories of focus or having connections in underrepresented areas for Kickstarter
