Account Director, Medical Education

Job Summary

Overseeing all aspects of account management, the remote Account Director, Medical Education will manage and mentor the account team, establish strong client relationships, and contribute to new business development efforts while ensuring client expectations are met.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily management for assigned book of business and oversee budgeting and financial monitoring of projects
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring ongoing communication and troubleshooting issues as necessary
• Hire, train, and provide career development for account management staff while updating senior management on account activities and new business opportunities

Required qualifications

• A bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree in science or business is preferred
• Seven plus years of relevant job experience, including management responsibilities in a scientific setting
• Management experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare advertising settings is preferred
• Strong ability to grasp and retain scientific and technical concepts
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and strong presentation skills
