Job Summary

A company is looking for an Account Executive to generate new business within assigned territories for local governments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell web-based software solutions to local governments within the assigned territory
  • Meet or exceed assigned territory goals and forecast business accurately
  • Develop consultative relationships with local governments and manage the buying cycle
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, social sciences, or a related field, or comparable experience
  • Experience in highly competitive markets preferred
  • Proven track record of selling software application deals in similar markets preferred
  • Ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment
  • Strong persuasive, analytical, and interpersonal skills
