Job Summary
Owning a defined territory of small-to-midsize Federal Systems Integrators and Financial Services & Insurance accounts, the full-time Account Executive, Federal Sales will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close while driving expansion within existing accounts and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver value in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle for SMB-tier Federal Systems Integrators and FSI accounts, from prospecting to close
- Build relationships with SIs to unlock indirect revenue opportunities and drive expansion through Enterprise License Agreements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast accurately and maintain disciplined CRM hygiene in Salesforce
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in federal sales, preferably in software or SaaS for the US federal government or defense sector
- Demonstrated ability to manage a territory, build pipeline, and close both net-new and expansion business
- Familiarity with federal procurement processes and contract vehicles
- Strong relationship-building skills across technical and executive stakeholders
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, distributed team
