Job Summary
A company is looking for an Account Executive, Retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, qualify, and close new retail accounts independently
- Manage multi-threaded deals across various stakeholders in commerce, digital, and technical domains
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop proofs of concept and translate merchant requirements into clear statements of work
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in B2B enterprise sales, with at least 3 years in retail or omnichannel brands
- A strong network with VP-level contacts at midmarket and enterprise retailers
- Experience selling integration platforms, commerce technology, or SaaS infrastructure is preferred
- Ability to engage with technical buyers and discuss topics like APIs and loyalty systems
- Motivated to build a pipeline from scratch rather than managing inbound leads
