Job Summary
Focused on driving sales for a portfolio of Enterprise and Strategic clients, the full-time Account Executive - Retail will leverage existing relationships and generate new business opportunities in the retail and consumer goods sector while working in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Apply and leverage sales processes, solution selling, and account management practices to achieve sales targets
- Generate over $5M in annual sales of IT consulting services while managing customer engagement from lead generation to deal closure
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local clients and industry stakeholders, including Fortune 500 executives
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of services sales or professional consulting experience, preferably in retail, distribution, travel, or hospitality
- Proven track record of achieving revenue objectives in complex solution environments with Fortune 500 clients
- Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as Strategic Selling or Solution Selling
- Ability to understand client needs and recommend valuable solutions
- Experience with AI-enhanced platforms and a solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations
