Job Summary
Owning a defined SMB territory in the Southeast, the full-time Account Executive, SMB will manage the full sales cycle for mid-market employer prospects, from initial outreach through proposal and close, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a pipeline of mid-market employer prospects in the Southeast, leading discovery conversations and closing deals
- Develop and present tailored proposals that align Carrot's platform with client business outcomes and employee experience goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and represent Carrot at regional events to build brand awareness and relationships
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in HR tech, employee benefits, healthcare, or SaaS
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a disciplined manner
- Experience selling to HR, People Operations, or Benefits leaders in smaller organizations
- Proficiency in Salesforce and sales tools, maintaining accurate pipeline data
- Alignment with Carrot's mission to expand access to healthcare benefits
