Job Summary
Leading procurement efforts in a hybrid work environment, the full-time Account Manager will engage customers, develop vendor relationships, and achieve revenue and margin targets while managing bid boards and utilizing Salesforce for tracking opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct procurement functions and evaluate financial implications of customer transactions
- Engage with customers and vendors to provide product information and support
- Monitor bid boards for opportunities and develop marketing strategies to access new contacts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience in government sales and federal contracting is a plus
- Solid understanding of assigned sales markets and company objectives
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with ERP software
- Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
