Job Summary
Managing customer relationships remotely, the full-time Account Manager will coordinate freight operations, resolve issues, and ensure service excellence while directly overseeing professional drivers and supporting business growth through strategic account management.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while providing routine updates on load status and service performance
- Coach and mentor drivers to achieve customer service goals and maximize utilization of company assets
- Prepare performance reports for clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or account management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and TMS platforms
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and driver hours of service
- Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
