Job Summary
Managing a portfolio of early-stage customers, the full-time Account Manager will focus on expanding and retaining client relationships, serving as the primary contact for post-sale discussions and ensuring alignment between customer needs and Vanta's solutions in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner
- Manage the entire sales cycle for expansion and renewal opportunities, negotiating and collaborating with internal resources as needed
- Accurately forecast monthly expansion and churn, maintaining a clean SFDC instance with rigorous pipeline hygiene
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in customer management or sales
- Strong ability to prospect and build pipeline independently
- Exceptional communication skills for both internal and customer-facing interactions
- Highly motivated with a sense of urgency and adaptability
- Experience in security and compliance is desirable but not mandatory
