Job Summary
To retain, grow, and expand the institutional customer base across the health sector in the Americas, the full-time remote Account Manager, Health will independently manage a portfolio of healthcare accounts, driving renewals, upselling, and cross-selling Wiley's offerings while collaborating with global cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Independently manage a portfolio of institutional Health customers, balancing retention with growth through ongoing account planning
- Renew and renegotiate agreements to ensure compliance and strong revenue retention while upselling and cross-selling Wiley's broader portfolio
- Drive new business by prospecting target institutions, building a pipeline, and closing first-time deals
Required qualifications:
- A four-year undergraduate degree
- 3+ years of institutional sales experience in health, preferably within publishing, information services, or technology
- Demonstrated track record of growing accounts and winning new business
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively under pressure
