Account Resolution Specialist

Job Summary

Managing insurance claims for clients, the fully remote Account Resolution Specialist II will ensure accurate and timely payment processing, handle claim denials and appeals, and follow up on accounts receivable.

Key responsibilities

• Submit and manage medical claims in compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific requirements
• Investigate claim errors and denials, preparing necessary appeals and corrections
• Follow up with payers to collect insurance accounts receivable and resolve non-payment issues

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in securing medical claim payments and managing claim follow-up
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Meditech, Epic, or Cerner
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, and the revenue cycle process
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various desktop applications
