Account Resolution Specialist

Job Summary

Managing a high volume of member communications, the full-time Account Resolution Specialist will establish payment plans, collect loan payments, and recover collateral while working remotely from Washington or Oregon.

Key responsibilities:

• Handles outbound and incoming calls regarding delinquent accounts, setting up repayment schedules within policy guidelines
• Completes tasks related to the collection and closure of delinquent accounts, including preparing files for collateral recovery and making recommendations for charge-offs
• Provides guidance and training to new team members and reviews internal processes for efficiency improvements

Required qualifications:

• Minimum one (1) year of experience in customer service or collections
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws related to collections and repossession
• Familiarity with Symitar and Temenos systems is preferred
• Ability to analyze situations affecting loan assets and establish effective working relationships
• Willingness to work extended hours as required to meet project deadlines
