Account Specialist

Job Summary

Engaging with customers to negotiate repayment plans, the full-time remote Account Specialist will work to prevent delinquent accounts from escalating while maintaining accurate records and assessing customer circumstances in Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers to negotiate repayment plans and prevent progression to late-stage delinquency
• Assess customer circumstances and recommend appropriate solutions
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in compliance with regulatory and company requirements

Required qualifications

• 1-2 years of collections, customer service, or financial services experience
• Understanding of lines of credit and billing cycles
• Ability to manage high call volumes while maintaining professionalism
• Strong knowledge of PCs and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Willingness to work in a quiet environment with high-speed internet connectivity
