Job Summary

Account Specialist for Benefits Management, a full-time position responsible for assisting youth transitioning from foster care and their families in understanding and managing federal benefit programs while providing customer support and tracking service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist older foster youth and families in understanding federal benefit programs and eligibility requirements
  • Educate youth and caregivers on managing and maintaining benefits during the transition from foster care
  • Provide clear and compassionate customer service while tracking individual caseloads and documentation
Required Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree or 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in customer service, benefits administration, or social services
  • Familiarity with Social Security benefits and human services organizations is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with standard office software and databases
