Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting the monthly close cycle, the full-time remote Accountant will assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records while collaborating closely with senior finance team members.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including preparing and posting journal entries
• Perform account reconciliations and flag discrepancies for timely resolution
• Help maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP and company policies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
• 0-2 years of accounting experience; internship or coursework in accounting is welcome
• Foundational understanding of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for basic data entry and reconciliation tasks
• Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment with evolving processes
