Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant to provide operational support to the Financial Accounting and Reporting Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in completing the monthly financial statement close process and preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Maintain and manage fixed assets records, including recording depreciation and preparing roll-forward schedules
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations, generate reports, and assist with annual external audit support

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting required
• Two years of accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills are required
• Healthcare financial or related experience preferred
• Experience with fixed asset accounting preferred
