Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an experienced Accountant with a strong background in finance systems and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve invoices, manage collections, and ensure revenue accuracy through reconciliation
• Process expenses and vendor payments while preparing financial and compliance reports
• Partner with leadership to modernize accounting processes and identify workflow improvements

Qualifications (Required)

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a professional services environment
• Strong GAAP knowledge, including revenue recognition
• Advanced experience with accounting systems (QuickBooks Online and Certinia preferred)
• Experience with compliance reporting (state, federal, GSA preferred)
