Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant to perform financial analyses and maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review accounting reports, including balance sheets and income statements, in accordance with GAAP
• Record journal entries and maintain analytical schedules supporting financial statements and audits
• Identify process improvements to enhance departmental efficiency and participate in financial system initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Proficiency in general ledger accounting and account reconciliations
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
