Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant on a contract-to-hire basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Own assigned accounting tasks as part of the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals and deferred revenue
• Support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and assist with variance analysis

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Approximately 2 to 5 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of month-end close and core accounting principles
• Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Experience working in Microsoft-based ERP environments preferred
