Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting closings
• Maintain cash books and reconcile them with bank statements and cash receipt registers
• Record insurance transactions and paid claims into the general ledger and prepare various financial schedules and reports

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 1 to 3 years of relevant insurance industry accounting experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with general ledger software, PeopleSoft and Oracle financial applications is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
