Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing digital marketing agency, the full-time remote Accountant will manage client accounts receivable, prepare financial reports, and maintain the general ledger while ensuring timely project delivery and adherence to financial regulations.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage client accounts receivable, including coding invoices, reconciling accounts, and overseeing collections
• Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements while maintaining the general ledger
• Assist with annual audits and file required tax forms with federal, state, and local agencies

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, with extensive knowledge of financial and cost accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software, including a minimum of 1 year experience with QuickBooks and NetSuite
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Familiarity with project management in a creative agency environment
