Accountant
Job Summary
Analyzing financial data and preparing reports, the full-time remote Accountant will manage financial statements, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain reconciliations within the VUMC IT Budget & Accounting team.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze statistical and financial reports while ensuring accurate transaction recording
- Evaluate discrepancies in transactions and recommend appropriate actions
- Complete reconciliations and prepare complex accounting entries and financial schedules
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting
- Intermediate knowledge of financial accounting practices and principles
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and ability to interpret complex rules
- Experience in preparing and presenting comprehensive financial reports
