Accountant, Capital Markets

Job Summary

Driving finance and accounting processes, the full-time Accountant, Capital Markets will manage accounting close activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and support new product launches while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own accounting close activities for the FCM and Broker-Dealer entities, including preparation of journal entries and financial statements
• Execute timely submission of all required regulatory reporting to the CFTC, NFA, and other applicable agencies
• Support internal and external audits for the registered FCM and Broker-Dealer entities

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of public accounting and/or industry experience within brokerage, asset management, or regulated financial services
• BA/BS in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred
• Working knowledge of FINRA/SEC broker-dealer rules and CFTC/NFA regulations
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent reporting deadlines
• Availability to work EST hours to meet daily regulatory filing deadlines
