Accountant - General Ledger

Job Summary

To support financial operations, the part-time temporary Accountant - General Ledger will manage purchase orders, vendor management, and general ledger activities while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain purchase orders in Ariba based on contract information and invoices
• Monitor purchase order approval status and collaborate with the invoicing team on new methodologies
• Handle monthly journal entries and financial reports, ensuring accurate general ledger maintenance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience preferred
• 2-3 years of accounting experience, particularly in general ledger and financial reporting
• Experience with Ariba for purchase order management (1+ years)
• Familiarity with payroll, sales audit, credit, cash, import, real estate, and inventory control
• Ability to gather information from cross-functional partners
