Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant II.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily cash and bank reconciliations across sub-ledger and general ledger
Process and analyze high volumes of payments, identifying outliers and discrepancies
Book cash-related journal entries during month-end close

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
2-4 years of accounting experience
Advanced Excel skills (formulas, lookups, data reconciliation)
Solid understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger systems
Based in the Houston metro area preferred; exceptional remote candidates considered
