Accountant III

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant III to support financial reporting and statutory accounting functions on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review month-end financial reporting and financial statements accurately and in a timely manner
• Support quarterly statutory filing preparation and documentation
• Respond to audit inquiries and provide supporting financial analysis as needed

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 3+ years of insurance industry experience, including statutory filings
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Workday General Ledger and reporting
