Accountant, Regulatory Reporting

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant, Regulatory Reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accounting reconciliations and prepare financial disclosures for fixed maturity and equity securities
• Participate in the monthly accounting close process and prepare schedules for Form 10Q/Ks and statutory filings
• Analyze data and prepare management reporting to support investment disclosures and compliance with accounting standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
• 3+ years of Investment Accounting experience in the insurance or finance industries preferred
• Knowledge of GAAP & Statutory accounting for Investments preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, and advanced formulas)
• Experience with financial reporting systems, preferably SAP
