Accountant, State Licensed

Job Summary

To support the financial operations of the Regional Health Ministry, the full-time remote Accountant, State Licensed will manage general ledger account analysis, reconciliations, and assist with financial statements while ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of accurate financial information and general ledger account reconciliations
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely implementation of recommendations from audit findings
• Prepare monthly accounting entries and assist with year-end financial reporting and tax return preparations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
• Knowledge of US GAAP and experience in financial analysis
• Preferred two years of accounting experience, with healthcare exposure
• Treasury experience is preferred
• Experience with various computer accounting systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
