Accountant (Workday Financials)

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant (Workday Financials Functional SME).

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize Workday Financials for daily accounting tasks and support reporting and close activities
• Serve as the accounting point person for Workday reporting and data issues, troubleshooting discrepancies
• Direct the integration of Workday data into reporting processes during merger activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials and at least one full lifecycle implementation
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Workday modules such as Record to Report (R2R) and Procure to Pay (P2P)
• Experience in managing financial reporting and data accuracy post-migration
