Accountant (Workday Financials)

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant (Workday Financials) for a contract role.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize Workday Financials for daily accounting tasks and reporting
• Serve as the point of contact for Workday reporting and data issues, ensuring accurate financial reporting
• Integrate Workday data into reporting processes during mergers, ensuring accurate consolidations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials and at least one full lifecycle implementation
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Workday modules such as Record to Report (R2R) and Procure to Pay (P2P)
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving data discrepancies
• Experience with Workday reporting training and management reporting
