Accounting Advisory Manager

Job Summary

To support the Accounting Advisory team, the remote Accounting Advisory Manager will provide accounting advice for F&G's investment portfolio, ensuring compliance with GAAP and Statutory reporting, while collaborating with cross-functional teams on investment-related financial reporting implications.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate new bespoke investments and assess financial reporting outcomes generated by asset managers
• Monitor proposed changes to accounting guidance and educate stakeholders on their impacts
• Prepare documentation to support accounting positions related to new standards and maintain the company's accounting policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting required
• 7+ years of relevant experience in accounting, particularly with investments
• Experience researching accounting guidance or prior accounting policy experience
• Extensive knowledge of insurance company investment accounting topics preferred
• Big 4 experience in insurance audit or accounting advisory roles is a plus
