Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Analyst to join their team in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a subject matter expert on accounting classifications for intangibles, internally developed software, PP&E, and leases
• Partner with senior leadership to assess capitalization eligibility and ensure proper accounting treatment
• Perform internal control testing on tangible, intangible, and leased assets, and support internal and external audit requests

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of public accounting audit experience or 3-5 years of solid staff accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookups
• Experience in month- and year-end close processes
• Ability to support process improvement efforts and develop standard operating procedures
