Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Analyst to assist with a GL mapping project.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and align general ledger structures for accurate mapping between accounting frameworks
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances to maintain financial record integrity
• Review financial transactions related to lending and deposit accounts to ensure proper accounting treatment

Required Qualifications

• Experience in an accounting or analyst position within a banking institution
• Knowledge of general ledger reconciliation and account mapping practices
• Familiarity with accounting considerations related to loans, repossessions, and deposit products
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLookups
• Understanding of financial statements, particularly balance sheets
