Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Blending Accounting Analyst to support the Commodity Accounting Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of accounting for gross margin items in accordance with US GAAP
• Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes by preparing journal entries and reconciliations
• Analyze transactional and operational data to identify trends and opportunities for automation

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong SQL skills
• Experience with business intelligence and analytic tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Looker, or Power BI
• Ability to learn and adapt to new software applications and tools quickly
• Experience working with complex datasets
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred
